Sikorsky Credit Union is celebrating their 75th Anniversary with a donation of 75 boxes of cereal to the Sterling House Community Center. The Cereal Drive took place during the month of April and employees generously donated 75 boxes of cereal to the Food Pantry at the Sterling House. Vincent Ciambriello, President and CEO shared, “For 75 years we have been happy to give back to the communities we serve. As inflation continues to rise, we want to ensure local food pantries are fully stocked for those that need it the most this summer.” Click here to see the video on our website.
The Sterling House has been serving the Stratford community since 1932 and is known for their athletics, food pantry, preschool, and summer camp among other community programs. LeAnne Reynolds, the Director of the Resource Connection shared, "Sterling House Community Center is grateful to have partners like Sikorsky Credit Union who hear the call when we share that cereal is a great need in our food pantry. Each year our pantry serves thousands of local families and individuals. With inflation hitting hard in the cereal aisle, this donation is going to help our clients a lot!"
