POSITION:            IT Applications Specialist - Full Time

DEPARTMENT:      Information Technology/Operations      

REPORTS TO:       IT Manager  

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Help Desk/Hardware and Software/Security and Compliance Support:

    Provide timely and accurate problem resolution support for internal and external customers.   Document and update IT Help Desk requests in the IT Help Desk database in a timely and professional manner. This position provides technical support for PCs, printers and desktop applications.  Deploys and maintains hardware, software and telecommunications systems of basic to medium complexity. 

  • Develop and maintain technical expertise for the hardware and software within the area of responsibility.   Install, configure, test and maintain these systems.  Provide hardware and software support.  Understand the business requirements of the staff and work with them to fully leverage the IT solution. Test and document Business Continuity Plan/Disaster Recovery procedures.

  • Maintain system patch levels for IT hardware and software applications as assigned.  This includes creating/documenting procedures, testing/applying patches, and maintaining a patch log to ensure system security.   Work with IT Security Officer and IT Management to establish and maintain hardware and software security standards within your area of responsibility. 


SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Bachelor’s degree equivalency with at least 3 years of relevant experience in information technology.  Experience in PC hardware and printer configuration, troubleshooting and repair.  Requires knowledge of PC hardware and software, Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft desktop applications.  Strong problem solving skills and the ability to teach users the fundamental concepts of various software applications.

POSITION:            Information Technology Manager - Full Time

DEPARTMENT:      Information Technology/Operations      

REPORTS TO:       CIO  

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Under the general direction of the Chief Information Officer, manages the implementation and daily ongoing operation of information technology systems that improve member service, streamline business processes, support the credit union’s strategic plan, and maintain regulatory compliance and information security.
    • Manages information and communications systems and projects including business, Internet and Intranet applications, network infrastructure, telecommunications, Sikorsky Credit Union’s electronic branch, help desk, and PC/server hardware and software.  Reviews and coordinates all projects related to the selection, acquisition, development, and installation of information technology systems.  Ensures IT systems are implemented and maintained in accordance with Sikorsky Credit Union’s policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.

    • Collaborates with the CIO to develop, implement and maintain Sikorsky Credit Union's information technology strategic direction and operational plans.  Applies technologies to improve the credit union’s competitive posture and collaborates with department managers to identify and implement technologies to streamline business processes.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Master’s degree equivalency with 6 to 10 years’ experience working with information technology and communication systems.  Experience designing, implementing, and managing network infrastructures, business application delivery, data security, and IT compliance programs.  Experience managing the daily operations of PC, server, Virtual, LAN/WAN, Extranet and Internet environments and ensuring best practices and regulatory compliance for the operation and security of these environments.  Strong project management skills required.  Programming skills a plus.  Knowledge and understanding of FFIEC and NCUA guidelines.

POSITION:               Collector - Full Time     

DEPARTMENT:        Loan Servicing/Collections Department     

REPORTS TO:         Collections Manager

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Contacts members with delinquent loan accounts by telephone and written correspondence to make payment arrangements, follow up on previous payment commitments, assist members having problems or discrepancies in their accounts, refer to credit counseling bureaus if appropriate and advise members on procedures of delinquency and how it will affect their credit rating. Perform a variety of duties to meet member needs, including clerical and accounting functions.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment. Exceptional service skills, telephone skills and excellent written and oral communication skills.  

Self-starter and highly motivated. Must have exceptional technological skills, decision making skills and resourceful in solving member problems and needs. 

Requires knowledge of consumer financing, collection procedures and policies and credit union laws and regulations governing debt collection.  Knowledge in the use of Summit and Collect Anywhere systems plus Microsoft Word and Excel, Lotus Notes and the ability to perform internet research.
