Sikorsky Credit Union Supports Community Programs

When it comes to supporting community programs, Sikorsky Credit Union doesn't just donate; their employees also get out their sneakers and use their artistic eye.

--Sikorsky Credit Union was a ($500) bronze sponsor 

Donation to Boys and Girls Club
for the Herbie Rollinson Memorial 5K Run-Walk, which took place on June 29. Proceeds from the walk supported programs at the Boys & Girls Club of Lower Naugatuck Valley. Paolo Mancuso, Shelton Branch Manager, summed it up. "It was great to be a part of an event that has such a positive impact in our community."

In Stratford--Sikorsky Credit Union was a sponsor for the Student Art Contest 
held at Sterling House. Nancy Meszaros, Oronoque branch manager, had a great time as a contest judge. She added, "This was a very different and fun way to be involved with the community in town." 

Danielle Walton, assistant branch manager, met with the children and witnessed their reaction when the winners were announced!



In Milford--Milford 
Neon Night Run in Milford
Branch employees teamed up on July 12 to walk for the 2014 Neon Nightrun, which benefits the Literacy Center of Milford.

Sikorsky Credit Union contributed $500 to this first time event. The Neon Nightrun covered 3.1 miles to raise funds in support of the Literacy Center’s programs for adults and children. 

“I am a great believer in this cause," said Michele Parry, Milford branch manager. ‘This is the type of event that is not only fun and good exercise, but does so much to benefit the Milford community.”
