“Trick or Trot” Event Has Significant Impact
Sikorsky Credit Union helps the Milford Beth-El Center raise over $22K
The Milford Beth-El Center is a recognized leader in caring for and meeting the needs of the hungry and homeless, providing up to 75 meals a day in their soup kitchen while also offering temporary shelter. At last year’s event, over $11,000 was raised, so this year was an even greater success. The Trick or Trot event had something for the entire family. Many participants (both old and young) were walking or running in their favorite Halloween costume. “We are so very grateful for the sponsorship of Sikorsky Credit Union and Harlow, Adams & Friedman, LLC for our annual “Trick or Trot” walk/run. The funds raised by this event will go directly into program services and will assist us in providing the support that is so necessary in rebuilding lives and restoring dignity to those we serve,” mentioned Toni Dolan, Executive Director of the Milford Beth-El Center.

“It is really great to be able to take part in events like this with my co-workers and give back to the community,” mentioned Michele Parry, who is the manager of the Sikorsky Credit Union Milford Office, which is at 15 Turnpike Square (right off the Post Road, just past the mall.) Sikorsky Credit Union had a team of volunteers at the event. The Milford Beth-El Center is one of many community organizations that has benefited from support provided by Sikorsky Credit Union this year.
