Sikorsky Credit Union Donation Benefits Spooner House
Helping those in need during the holiday season.
At this time of year, many of us are looking forward to sitting down to a holiday meal with our families. Sadly, regular hot meals are not always possible without outside assistance for some in the community. One local organization that helps support families is the Spooner House, a nonprofit organization located in Shelton and operated by Area Congregations Together, Inc. Recently, Sikorsky Credit Union made a $500 donation to the Spooner House in support of their programs.

Active throughout the Lower Naugatuck Valley for many years, the Spooner House helps the community by providing shelter and food programs, and working
to promote self-sufficiency. Through their food bank, Spooner House has already provided over 125,000 meals to those in need throughout the local area in 2013.
“We are so appreciative of the tremendous support Sikorsky Credit Union has had for Spooner House. It is our honor to partner with them in support of the community.” mentioned Susan Agamy, Executive Director of Spooner House. “I am grateful to work in an organization that is committed to the community in many different ways” added Paolo Mancuso, who manages Sikorsky Credit Union’s Shelton office.
The Spooner House is one of many community organizations that receive support from Sikorsky Credit Union.
