POSITION:  Mortgage Operations Manager
LOCATION: Headquarters
REPORTS TO: VP of Retail Delivery & Mortgage Lending
FLSA Code: Exempt
  • Sikorsky Credit Union is seeking an experienced Mortgage Operations Manager to join our team.  As the Mortgage Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

    JOB DESCRIPTION:
    • Overseeing, motivating, coaching and training staff to ensure goals and performance metrics are met.
    • Managing the loan pipeline and workflow to ensure efficient department operations.
    • Ensuring sound control and adherence to loan quality and compliance control.
    • Assisting in managing relationships with mortgage vendors, mortgage insurance companies , attorneys and other vendors.

    CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
    • High School Diploma or GED. Some college education desired.
    • 5+ years’ relevant work experience in a leadership capacity, with an extensive understanding of processing, underwriting and closing procedures.
    • Strong knowledge of federal and state mortgage banking regulations and Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac residential mortgages.
    • Strong working knowledge of Loan Origination System Software is required.
    • An acute attention to detail coupled with strong analytical skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are an absolute must.
    • Must be Team and Action-oriented, adaptable and possess a strong work ethic.

    POSITION:  Assistant Branch Manager
    LOCATION: Milford Branch
    REPORTS TO: Branch Manager
    FT/PT Status: Full-time

    Sikorsky Credit Union is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to join our Retail Delivery team. This individual will manage daily branch office operations based upon guidelines and goals set by the Branch Manager including training, provide leadership, decision making, delivering and overseeing member service and ensuring compliance with policies, procedures and regulations.

    JOB DESCRIPTION:
    • Delivers superior member service, opens and services new and existing accounts.
    • Takes loan applications, makes disbursements and provides credit counseling.  Confers with loan officers on loan decisions.
    • Coaches and motivates branch staff.  Leads by example.  Develops and trains staff.
    • Solves complex problems related to daily branch operational and employee issues.  Assigns and delegates work.
    • Supports and promotes credit union marketing initiatives.
    • Participates in community affairs.
    • Serves as backup to the Branch Manager.

    CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
    • High School Diploma or GED. Additional college courses in Business a plus.
    • 3+ years’ relevant work experience in retail banking.
    • Knowledge of federal and state banking laws, regulations and compliance. Requires good organizational, analytical, supervisory, interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
    • Requires good sales, analytical, supervisory and written and verbal communications skills.
    • Knowledge of mobile devices, technology driven delivery channels of banking services and products.
    • Knowledge of basic office equipment such as computers, printers, scanners, fax, and copiers.
    • Strong computer skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Lotus Notes.

    Sikorsky Credit Union is seeking a part time Teller to join our Retail Delivery team. You will be responsible for processing routine transactions as well as identifying member needs and cross selling the credit unions financial products and services.
     
    JOB DESCRIPTION:
    • Interact with members and provide superior member service.
    • Process routine banking transactions.
    • Identify member needs and cross sell the credit unions financial products and services.
    • Establish and retain member relationships with current and prospective new members.
    • Keeps informed and remains focused on the credit unions new marketing strategies.
    • Provide technical product support for electronic banking delivery channels.
    • Responsible for managing and balancing your cash daily, while adhering to established practices, procedures and financial institution regulatory requirements. 

    CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • 2+ years’ relevant work experience in the financial industry, cash handling or customer service or sales experience.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    • Strong communication skills an (outgoing personality is helpful).
    • Proven member service abilities, with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

      POSITION:  System Analyst II
      DEPARTMENT: IT
      REPORTS TO: IT Manager

      Sikorsky Credit Union is seeking a Systems Analyst II to join our IT team at our Stratford, CT headquarters. You will be responsible to handle all Enterprise server issues relating to their hardware and software.  Deploys and maintains hardware, software and telecommunications systems of medium to high complexity.
       
      JOB DESCRIPTION:
    • Support the physical and virtual server environments including activities such as provisioning, maintenance & troubleshooting.  Provide troubleshooting, support and analysis of requests within the Enterprise Server Environment.  Build new VMs in data center & DR site in adherence to all established standards.  Own, track and resolve physical and virtual server incident tickets and related requests.  Develop and maintain server inventory and configuration documentation, manage server hardware lifecycle.  Will require occasional after-hours and weekend work to implement patches and/or perform system maintenance/installs. Requires the ability to lift up to 50lbs.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
    • BA/BS degree in a technical discipline.
    • 2+ years experience as Server Administrator.
    • 2+ years experience in Virtual environment which includes: Data Replication Service, Virtual Center, Site Recovery Mgr.
    • Experience in networking technologies which include virtual NICs and switches, vDS, physical and virtual LAN topologies.
    • Working knowledge of Enterprise SAN technologies.
    • Validation and installation of security patches, functional patches and version upgrades.
    • Proven ability in performing Operating System Updates and applying patches.
    • Ability to quickly pick up new knowledge of specific applications within the environment.
    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot issues and test/validate/deploy resolution.
    • Demonstrates constant consideration of risks and impacts especially with regards to changes such as security patching (i.e., change management).
    • Experience with infrastructure technology components including data centers (Power, Cooling and Structured Cabling), network, servers, data storage and virtualization.
    • Clear understanding of project phases and deliverables.
