POSITION:  Call Center Representative
LOCATION: Stratford/Operations
REPORTS TO: Member Service Manager
Status: Part-time
  • Sikorsky Credit Union is seeking a part time Call Center Representative to join our Operations team at our Stratford, CT headquarters. You will be responsible for the timely and accurate servicing of our members inbound calls.  Provide superior member service and technical product support of electronic banking services and products. Processing routine transactions as well as identifying member needs and cross selling the credit unions financial products and services.

  • JOB DESCRIPTION:
    • Provides exceptional and professional telephone standards to ensure member satisfaction.
    • Processes transactions for members.  Researches customer inquiries according to departmental guidelines and procedures to ensure a comprehensive response is provided.
    • Utilizes in depth knowledge to assist members with Internet banking/bill pay processes, mobile banking and to ensure complex issues related to on line issues are resolved.
    • Cross sells Credit Union products and services to members.  Educates members on different options based on the member’s specific needs. 
    • Promotes and maintains a positive work atmosphere by communicating in a manner consistent with professional standards to work effectively with members, co-workers, management and vendors.  Demonstrates the Credit Union’s core values of Service, Teamwork, Integrity and Responsibility.
    • Keeps abreast of industry developments including, but not limited to changes in regulations and technology.
    • Ensures adherence to company policies and procedures and Banking/Credit Union Regulations.
    • Performs additional duties as required.
  • CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
    • High school diploma or equivalent with some college coursework.
    • A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in a financial institution or bank. 
    • Knowledge of state and federal regulatory compliance requirements.  
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, analytical and organization skills with a keen attention to detail. 
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office.  Experience with Lotus Notes a plus.

  • POSITION:  Teller
    LOCATIONS: Various
    REPORTS TO: Branch Manager
    FT/PT Status: Part-time, Full-time 

    Sikorsky Credit Union is seeking full-time and part time Tellers to join our Retail Delivery team. You will be responsible for processing routine transactions as well as identifying member needs and cross selling the credit unions financial products and services.
     
    JOB DESCRIPTION:
    • Interact with members and provide superior member service.
    • Process routine banking transactions.
    • Identify member needs and cross sell the credit unions financial products and services.
    • Establish and retain member relationships with current and prospective new members.
    • Keeps informed and remains focused on the credit unions new marketing strategies.
    • Provide technical product support for electronic banking delivery channels.
    • Responsible for managing and balancing your cash daily, while adhering to established practices, procedures and financial institution regulatory requirements. 

    CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • 2+ years’ relevant work experience in the financial industry, cash handling or customer service or sales experience.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    • Strong communication skills an (outgoing personality is helpful).
    • Proven member service abilities, with the ability to work in a fast paced environment. 
    • Knowledge of mobile devices, technology driven delivery channels of banking services and products.
    • Knowledge of basic office equipment such as computers, printers, scanners, fax, and copiers. 
    • Strong computer skills, knowledge of Word and Lotus Notes.
