Lee works as one of our Home Loan Consultants.

Hi Lee! Tell us a little bit about yourself:
I'm a married father of three boys, with two in college and one in high school. I've been involved in coaching in my town since my kids were little and the greatest joy is watching them grow up and become young adults.
Other than that, I'm a very, very boring person.

What type of tasks and responsibilities do you handle at work?
Counsel people in the home buying or home refinancing process, from application stage to closing and many times after. I actually take as much, if not more, pride in those I cannot help immediately and working with them to attain their goal of purchasing a home.

What’s the best thing about your job?
Working for a company who cares about their employees and  is evolving  with the times . We also offer great products at discounted costs without the discounted service.

What would you do for a career if you weren’t doing this?
I honestly couldn’t tell you. I have been doing this for so long I cannot imagine doing anything else. Probably something with mentoring kids.

What’s a personal goal that you’re currently working on?
I have several, but they are not public. Only public one is trying to get back to being able to fit into my clothes again while still being able to breathe normally

How do you define success?
This is a question that drives me insane and I actually think about very often, probably too often. How do you personally define success, and who defines if you are successful? I have made a lot of money in my lifetime but found myself the least happiest in those times, stressed out exhausted from all the hours I was putting in with little to no downtime. And times where I struggled I learned more about myself that I would have never learned had I not been through a rough patch and even though times were difficult it was just one of many stages in life. I think people who are younger define success by money or material things and as you mature you define success by how you have positively impacted those around you.  In long form, I honestly couldn’t tell you. I know many people who think they are successful and those same people are viewed as failures and vise versa.

What is your favorite thing about working at Sikorsky Credit Union?
There are a lot of great people here and I enjoy being part of positive change and growth.
